Zeek Fatherhood

I just had to post this since it is confirmed that they have 3 welps, 1 boy and 2 girls I figure I can at least post this to my account, after all their coat patterns would not be shown this early on and that is what would need to be confirmed once I'm able to get them submitted for approval there. I also made their black coats the same as the black is intended to be once their other colors start filling in....makes it to where you can tell them apart as well (I hope that's ok...if not I'll change it)

~Quickly after Valory had given birth to their 3 new welps Zeek jumped in and nudged them close so that they could nurse. He was pleased to have 3 new offspring to carry on his bloodline and smiled with pride and love. " Zeek, what should we name them?" Valory asked, now that she had caught her breath enough to speak. "I'm not sure," Zeek replied, looking at the youngsters and giving it some thought, "I think the boy should be named after my uncle, I never actually met him but I heard he was quite the adventurer from my father all the time...Dakuma". Valory smiled and gently licked Dakuma, "Welcome to the world my little Dakuma," She then looked at the 2 little girls, "Well, maybe for the girls we can name this one Takumii and this one Yumiina, both with 2 i's in their names." Valory then pointed to each one in turn and spoke thier new names. "I like them, although I must ask..." he looked nervous for a moment, then quickly got up the courage since Valory had quickly explained there would be 2 i's in each of their names, "why the 2 i's instead of a singly i or a y like in your name?" Valory laughed a little before grinning up at Zeek, who was able to calm down a bit with Valory's happy resonse, "My mother originally wanted to name me with 2 i's, it's been a family tradition for the last few generations to name the females with 2 i's instead of just 1, but my father wouldn't hear of it and that was the end of that since my mother didn't want to argue with him." Zeek smiled tenderly at Valory and licked her muzzle gently, "So you'ld like to carry on that tradition then, if that makes you happy then we'll do it." They then went quite and loving watched their welps. Mika had been asked to play with Movuto or Kipp when Valory went into labor several hours ago. 
Mika slowly walked into the den and heard the quiet wimpers of the new welps feeding, "May I come in?" she asked timidly, not wanting to intrude to much on her step-parents. Zeek looked up to see Mika still close to the entrance of the den, "It's alright Mika, do you wanna meet your new brother and sisters?" he asked quietly, He didn't want to wake Valory who had quickly fallen to sleep shortly after their conversation. Mika quickly and quietly walked over, curiousity taking over, when she was next to Zeek she sat down and peered over his belly. The small welps were suckling away, unaware of their growing audiance. "They're so tiny," Mika whispered, "what's their names?" Zeek pointed to each of them with the end of his nose and spoke their names in turn, he then looked at Mika, "Did you have fun?" Mika looked up, she had forgotten all about her earlier adventures for a moment there, "Y-yay, Movatu wouldn't play, but me and Kipp had a good time, he even told me about the time he had hunted bats in some caves you guys had all ended up in". Zeek smiled, he had forgotten about that for some reason, as he thought about it he quickly remember why he wasn't to fond of the memories, that male from the other pack had tried to woo Valory right out from under him and on top of that, after she had said no he made it seem like he didn't care one way or the other! Zeek's gaze had turned icy as he thought about that without his knowing and Mika quickly became nervus all over again at the sudden change, "I-I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean to make you mad, honest I..." Zeek came back to the present hearing Mika's frightened whispers, "It's alright honey, there were just other things that had happened that I'm  not to fond of, I didn't mean to scare you," he then nuzzled Mika comfortingly. After a while of whispered tails they were all asleep, the only sound left being their breathing and an occasional wimper from the welps while they switched between feeding and sleeping.~
