Case and Casandra (including small story)

For Ungen333 as a bit of a thank-you for the hunting collab.

This I thought was both cute, and absolutely hillarious.

Case was alone in the woods, or so he had thought, and due to his last tussel with Izzy a few moons back which had caused him to leave the pack again not wanting to admit defeat....how absurd, I should be much stronger than that geek...he thought to himself with a growl. A leaf fluttered by and in a flick of his tail electrocuted it to nothing but cinders, seeing this improvement in speed gave him an idea, after all no one was around to see him if he failed right? He quickly got into possition, took a deep breath to steady himself, then took of in a flash, jumping over fallen trees and zig-zagging through the brush...this is way easier than before...he thought with a grin and foolishly closed his eyes for a second to feel the wind on his face as he almost flew threw the trees. When he opened his eyes a moment later, a beautiful female stood before him....crap!...he thought, and tried to slow himself but the ground was slick from all the fall rain and couldn't stop. Thier noses touched, only for an instant, and for the briefest of moments he felt..warmth, happiness...no it couldn't be.....he thought, and then he noticed a light blush on her cheeks... That's when reality hit him, and this lovely female, flying into a nearby tree. When his head finally stopped spinning he noticed the female, still with a blush, glaring down at him and snarling about something, it took him a few more moments before his mind caught up enough to understand.

"You idiot!" she yelled, "you could have killed me! Hey, are you even listening to me! Get that dopey look off your face!" She was furious, she wasn't use to being caught off guard like this, it was her first day on scouting duty since she had joined Kurai and his pack after Kurai and Izzy bested her in a hunting duel...if she could really catch as much prey as the two of them combined as she had claimed then she could go on her way with the stolen carcass, but if she failed she had to join the pack...Kurai's words echoed in her head, now she knew better than to make foolish claims she couldn't fulfill and was determined to prove how strong she could be. She shook her head for a moment to clear her mind....this idiot needed to pay, and he will...she thought, a grin forming on her muzzle....a few good jolts auta do it...and with that she jolted him, sending a flurry of lightning attachs.
Case dodged, but barely, on the first strick having noticed something was up when she did the crazy grin a moment earlier, Izzy had said he would do the same thing before attaching...strange....he thought....that Izzy's words actually helped him just then. In a moment Case was furious again, why did Izzy have to be right, in the next they were fighting, strick after strick, the fighting could be heard from a good distance off. 

Kurai, Talia and Elly were close enough by, and Kurai recognized these attaches, he had heard them enough times by now, not together, but it was still familiar. He quickly instructed Elly to go get Damian and Aria, and then nodded to Talia to follow him. When they got to the fighting area, several trees had been knocked down and both Case and Casandra were winded, before they could launch another attach, Talia breathed a flurry of flames inbetween them, creating a temporary wall of fire. She then raced over to Casandra and knocked her to the ground, "That's Enough!" she commanded, and since she was second in command, Casandra quickly obeyed the order even though she'ld rather take another swipe at this stupid male. When the flames died down, to Casandra's surprise, Kurai was talking with this male...did he know him? was he another member of this pack? what was going on?...she thought, slumping a bit more out of exhaustion. 

"Case! what is the meaning of this?" Kurai growled, catching Case's attention since the flames blocked his view from this female and the crackling of the flames made it difficult to hear anything beyond them. Next thing he knew, Kurai had him to the ground, sure Case was strong, but not as strong as Kurai until a pretty girl was involved, he quickly submitted, to exhausted to try and fight Kurai off too....and whoever this new firey female was, he hadn't seen her the last time he was in the pack. After a few moments, and against his better judgement, "She attached me, I was defending mys.." but was cut short by Kurai's glare, he had made it very clear with the entire pack to never attach first unless it was absolutely neccessary, and Case knew that..."alright alright, I may have run into her, but it wasn't like I was trying to start a fight or nothing.." he thought back to the breaf moment of happiness before everything went all bat sh**, he'ld do it all again for that moment. Kurai, seeing some sort of resolution in Case's eyes calmed down a bit, and with a flick of his tail pulled the air away from the firey wall to subdue the flames, he then offered Case a paw to help him up, which Case refused as he had every other time. 

With the flames now gone, he could see the females, the firey one standing inbetween, but he could see the other one, staring at him and Kurai with a dumbfounded look on her face. "You promise you won't start fighting again, I'ld hate to have to knock you down again?" Kurai asked, lifting an eyebrow to messure Case's response, Case could only nod, he didn't want to start laughing at that face the female was still making. "Talia, it's alright," Kurai called over, "You remember Case right?" ....oh yeah, that was that ones name, since he was there for so little when she had been introduced he hadn't had the chance to remember her clearly....Case thought to himself... Talia loosened her pose, vaguely recognizing the name, she remembered hear Izzy talk about him with a strangely annoyed marvelence, almost like he cared about him yet at the same time annoyed the hell out of him, now she could tell why. Casandra, having finally caught up with what was going on, finally spoke, "Wait, you know this idiot?" Talia gave a warning glance back at her, "I mean this male?" Casandra corrected. "Yes, he's been a member of the pack on and off, what's it been, 3 moons now? Think you wanna join up again?" Kurai teased, grinning at Case. He merely shrugged, "It's kinda nice being in a pack, yeah, I suppose I can join back up with you guys again if you really miss me all that much." Case teased back, but more so with a sence of pride than Kurai had. Casandra's jaw dropped again...no way, is this idiot for real? he actually wants to join up after all that?...she could wrap her head around, figuring these things would make sence eventually, although she didn't like not knowing. 

So after a few more poor jokes from Kurai and Case tring to joke back yet still act tough, it was agreed that Case would take his original place in the pack as he had had before, much to Casandra's displeasure since now he outranked her, but he was a good fighter, at least good enough to hold his own against her so she let it go....Case is now back in the pack.
